Speaking to graduates at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Friday, the actor talked about the world being part of some type of “alien species computer simulation,” and mentioned how it would be great if there was one simulation that didn’t include the current GOP presidential candidate.
“If there are multiple simulations, how come we have to be in the one where Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president,” he asked the graduating class. “Can we transfer to a different one?”(RELATED: Grading The 2016 College Commencement Speakers: The Daily Caller’s GINORMOUS List)
Damon also told the students that in order to make the world one they want they’ve got to be willing to do the work. “You’ve got to go out and do really interesting things, important things, inventive things, because this world has problems that we need you to drop everything and solve,” he added.
