O. J. Simpson will come clean about the 1995 murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, a new report claims.

Speaking to a New York Daily News reporter during the premier of an upcoming series titled “O.J. Simpson: Made In America,” long-time friend of Simpson’s, Ron Shipp, says that the only way for his friend to “exorcise his demons” is to finally come clean. (RELATED:O.J. “The guy is in total torment today,” he said. “Someone told me he is 300 pounds and he looks horrible. O.J. has always felt his appearance meant everything and now, deep down inside, he is starting to live with himself.”

Ship continued and said that when Simpson gets out possibly as early as next year, he plans to tell the truth of what happened the night of the murders, the report claims.

“I hope one day he actually will rid us of all the doubt and all the conspiracy theories and say ‘sorry I cannot go to prison (because of double jeopardy laws), but I am sorry I did it,'” he added.

“I do,” Shipp said when asked if and when he thinks this confession might occur. “I got a call about a conspiracy theory about Jason (Simpson’s son) being the killer and I thought, man, come on Juice, just say ‘my son didn’t do it.'”

Ship also said that he didn’t think Simpson committed the murder back then, but has since changed his view.

“I should have known,” he added. “I didn’t really see him at the time doing that because of my love for him. I didn’t want to believe the things I saw.”

Simpson is currently behind bars in Las Vegas serving a 15 year sentence for armed robbery and is up for parole next year.
