A Bernie Sanders delegate has been forced to withdraw from the Democratic National Convention after he tried to sell drugs to undercover agents, Independent Journal reports.

The delegate, John Dillon Wood Neitge, was recently selected as a Sanders delegate from Minnesota. He was arrested in March for attempting to sell marijuana and acid to undercover police officers, who later searched his home and discovered stashes of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Despite being arrested in March, Neitge was actively involved in Sanders’ campaign up until Saturday, which is when he was asked to step down from his position as a delegate.

But the incident has not changed Neitge’s views on Sanders. “A great person who was originally elected to be an alternate took my place,” Neitge said, “and I’m happy to send strong Sanders supporters like him and the others to Philly to represent Minnesota!”
