Richard Simmons is transitioning into a woman, a new report claims.

The National Enquirer published a story Wednesday claiming that the 67-year-old fitness guru — who hasn’t been seen in public since 2013 — is in the process of becoming a woman. It claims that Simmons has undergone breast implant surgery and hormone therapy for two years now.

“[This is] not just Richard Simmons in drag,” a source told the Enquirer. “This is Richard dressed as a softly spoken woman named Fiona!”
However, TMZ published photos of Simmons sporting a beard this week, which would contradicts the Enquirer’s claim. (RELATED: Richard Simmons Was Hospitalized For Dehydration)

Simmons raised suspicions this week when he was admitted to the hospital last Friday.
Though he claimed it was for dehydration and he was released 24 hours later, his housekeeper was seen visiting Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Monday — two days after he said he left the facility. (RELATED: Richard Simmons’ Hospital Stay Was More Serious Than We Thought)
