Virginia Democrats called on anti-Donald Trump protesters to “keep it peaceful” when the presumptive GOP presidential nominee rallies in Richmond Friday.

“He has a right to come here,” Richmond Democratic Committee Chair James “JJ” Minor told NBC 12. “But he isn’t welcome here.”

Law enforcement removed protesters screaming “Black Lives Matter” at a Trump rally back in October at the Richmond International Raceway and minor fight between Trump supporters and protesters reportedly occurred.

Trump supporters were spat upon, egged, punched, stalked and chased by rioters outside of a Trump rally in San Jose, Calif., last week.

“We don’t want Donald Trump as our president,” said Minor who wanted to make it clear to Trump protesters to “Keep it peaceful. He’s a billionaire, but he is not worth going to jail for.”

According to NBC 12, one protest group plans hand out white roses during the Trump rally to symbolize the original White Rose Society that formed to stop German dictator Adolf Hitler.
