Former Baylor football coach Art Briles might once again be on the sideline coaching football games.

A report from Scout on Monday indicates that there are those inside the upper echelons of Baylor that are vying to bring Art Briles back after his firing and only punish him with a one year suspension. (RELATED: Colin Cowherd: Baylor Scandal Wouldn’t Happen In A Big City)

The same report indicates that several unnamed members of the Baylor leadership feel that former school president Ken Starr is responsible for the handling of sexual assault and rape accusations against football players. (RELATED: BREAKING: Baylor Reportedly Fires Football Coach Art Briles Amid Chaos Over Handling Of Sexual Violence Claims)

Briles was fired and Starr was removed as the Baylor president after ESPN broke a story detailing massive levels of corruption and coverups regarding the school’s football team. Multiple players were accused of violence against women and little was done to curb the problem.
