Famous Second Amendment and YouTube personality Iraqveteran8888 activist has posted a picture on Facebook of the Orlando SWAT team member shot in the head and saved by his helmet.
The SWAT team member is only identified as Mike, and the caption reads, “Mike, glad you are okay brother! Thanks for sticking your neck out for your fellow man. (This is the Swat officer who took the rifle round to the helmet).” (RELATED: Check Out The Helmet That Saved An Orlando Officer’s Life)
The officer was saved when the bullet struck his kevlar helmet, which, without a doubt, saved him from certain death. It’s a brutal bruise, but at least he is still alive and appears to be in good spirits.
