Josh Hutcherson said that Bernie Sanders should definitely not drop out of the race, adding it’s “not about him wining” — it’s about the “movement.”

On Wednesday, the “Hunger Games” actor told TMZ that Sanders must stay in the race for the White House against Hillary Clinton and insisted that there is more going on with his movement than just winning the presidency. (RELATED: New ‘Hunger Games’ Trailer Is ‘Catching Fire’ [VIDEO])

“Bernie from the beginning has said that it’s not about him, it’s about the movement,” he said. “And I think it would be disingenuous to all the people who supported him and donated their own hard-earned money for him to stop. If it’s really just about the movement and not about him winning.”

“And he’s got to keep that movement alive,” he added. “That movement’s got to keep on going past whoever the nominee is and past whoever the next president is. So, I think that it’s important for the movement itself that Bernie doesn’t give up now.”

Democrats began putting pressure on the democratic candidate after Clinton secured enough delegates to win the party’s nomination following the California primary.
