If the House Democrats’ temper tantrum-turned-slumber party on gun control doesn’t make sense to you, don’t worry. DNC Chairbot Debbie Wasserman Schultz is here to explain it all.
To recap: Omar Mateen murdered 49 people to impress Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and the House Democrats’ response is to sit on the floor and pout because the Republicans won’t let them take away your due process rights. If you’re an American citizen and you’re on some secret government list for some unknown reason, you shouldn’t have any Constitutional rights. That’s what the Dems are trying to sell you.
And here’s their head saleswoman, explaining their strategy. Video courtesy of David Rutz at the Washington Free Beacon:
“The strategy is that we’re at a point in the year where we’ve had more than 100 mass shootings in this country. And countless numbers of times that members of Congress from the cities across this country in which those shootings have taken place have stood on the House floor, in the well, and asked for a moment of silence and the thoughts and prayers of our colleagues. Well, thoughts and prayers aren’t good enough anymore. We have to act.”
Etc., etc. And now they’re acting, by sitting around pooping their pants until everybody agrees that the Constitution no longer applies. Also: The NRA is bad, you guys!
Remember the Second Amendment? It’s been amended:
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, unless somebody comes up with a really awesome hashtag. #NoBillNoBreak

This little snit is playing well among liberals and the media (pardon the redundancy). They can all congratulate themselves on how righteous and “historic” they are, and they’ll raise a lot of funds by behaving like the overgrown toddlers who make up their base. Good for them.
Meanwhile, the Second Amendment hasn’t been repealed. If they want to do that, they should get started. For centuries now, there’s been a process in place to repeal it. But unfortunately for DWS and her little pals, it doesn’t entail holding your breath till you turn blue.
