Dan Bongino, who recently announced his candidacy for Florida’s 19th Congressional District seat, released an ad taking on Washington’s “lack of results” Monday.

The 30-second spot titled “Service” featured Bongino driving his daughter to school: “I was a Secret Service agent for 12 years, facing threats from around the world, but the dangers created by Washington are far worse.”

Bongino, who describes himself as a “renegade Republican,” lists his platform issues of Obamacare, amnesty and national security.

“Gutless politicians have stolen our money and our liberty, and I’m coming to take them back,” he says.

The ad, hitting the Southwest Florida airways was meant to “interject contrast” from the other two candidates, Chauncey Goss and Francis Rooney, according to a press release.

“This commercial is based on refusing to accept the managed decline of our country, not Washington consultant-led focus groups serving the electorate more pablum,” said Bongino in a press release.

The ad closes by Bongino opening the car door and walking his daughter to school.

“It’s not about me, it’s about this,” says Bongino.
