Former Navy SEAL Tej Gill, who was friends with two of the Americans who were killed in the Benghazi attack, says that Hillary Clinton “killed my friends.”
In an interview on SiriusXM radio on Tuesday, Gill told host Stephen Bannon about his bumper stickers with the statement “Hillary Clinton killed my friends” that have “gone viral” among those in the SEAL community. (RELATED: Trey Gowdy’s Benghazi Committee Releases Full Report On Attacks)
When asked what he means by the phrase “Hillary Clinton killed my friends,” Gill replied, “Well, [Clinton] literally killed my friends, Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty. I’ve known Ty since ’97 and Glen since 2003. They were both good friends. Her actions led to their deaths.” (RELATED: Rep. “By denying multiple requests for the upgraded security at the the consulate, at the outpost, it was attacked. The terrorists just literally pushed the gate open. They flooded that compound in ten seconds and took it over, and the CIA guys had to go down the street and rescue them and then they got killed because of her,” Gill argued.
“If that consulate would have been hardened like it should have been, none of that would’ve happened. If there were Marines there, if there were belt-fed machine guns and heavy weapons there, they could have repelled that attack but instead … the terrorist literally pushed the gate open.”
As a result of the Benghazi attack, Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, Doherty and Woods (both former Navy SEALs) died.
