Kim Kardashian said she never saw the final edit of Kanye West’s “Famous” video until the night when it premiered for everyone else.
In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily on Tuesday, the 35-year-old reality TV star talked for the first time about the video that portrays naked celebrities like Donald Trump, George W. “I actually never saw the final edit of it,” Kardashian said. “I did that kind of on purpose because I love to be surprised. It was, like, three, four months in the making, so I obviously knew it was going on, but I didn’t actually see the final cut until he debuted it at The Forum. The video has received criticism from a variety of performers. Lena Dunham took to her Facebook account and went on a rant against West calling it a “disturbing” piece of work. Former talk show host Piers Morgan called into question the reality TV star’s ‘feminism’ after seeing the video.
