New body camera footage shows a Florida woman allegedly bribe a cop with a wad of cash before bragging about smoking weed.
In the video, which radio host Andy Slater first reported, a police officer pulls over Margaret Garcia for speeding. When the cop asks for Garcia’s license and registration, she offers him a wad of cash.
“Ma’am, that’s money,” the officer says in the video.
“I know …” she says.
“How much I owe you?” she goes on to say.
“You don’t owe me any money,” the cop answers. “I asked for your license and registration.”
“You want to check my registration?” she says. “Go ahead. I’m going home.”
The cop arrests Garcia, saying he found a bag of marijuana that spilled out in the car. He also found an open container of alcohol on the passenger side of the vehicle. The officer says he has never seen that much spilled weed.
“That’s personal use,” Garcia said, apparently referring to the marijuana.
“What? What? I smoke weed. What? I don’t give a fuck,” she added.
“I’ve never been so glad for these cameras in my life,” he says.
