PETA went out of their way on the 4th of July to attack a hot dog eating contest in New York.
Barstool Sports blogger Dan Katz was an honorary contestant in the contest, and got a surprise when he was doused in fake blood while attempting to crush some hot dogs for the “Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.”

Joey Chestnut won the contest after eating an incredible 70 hot dogs.
