A man was shot by a police officer in Falcon Heights, Minnesota Wednesday evening and the man’s girlfriend got it all on tape.

The graphic video was posted to Facebook and it starts off with the man, Philando Castile, slumped over in the car seat next to his girlfriend. His white T-shirt is soaked with blood and he only makes audible noises in the very beginning of the nine-minute video, while oscillating his head.

The girlfriend, Lavish Reynolds, explains that “he is licensed to carry” and “was trying to get out his ID and wallet out of his pocket” along with other details of what exactly happened.

Castile was the only person shot, according to the video. This is another incident of a police shooting this week — a man was shot in Louisiana, a case that is now under investigation by the Obama administration.

Another witness, to the horrific scene was a young girl who is seen in the back of the car.

Reynolds was relatively calm and is heard saying, “oh my God, please don’t tell me he is dead,” as his lifeless body leans over.

Reynolds appears compliant with the officer and remained still during the video. The officer continued to point the gun through the driver’s side window as the man bleeds out.

The reason the police reportedly approached Castile and Reynolds was because of a broken taillight.
