“I was famously offered a job to work for some political organization, after,” Janney said. “And I was like, ‘no, no, no.’ It’s actually been a burden for me that people think they are going to meet C.J. and I am just so not her.” (RELATED: Aaron Sorkin: Donald Trump Is A ‘Dangerous Situation)

“It’s very hard to play a character that is so beloved, and so smart and so confident,” she added. “And specially someone who can dress someone down without having to…You know, I dress people down five days later. Like, ‘Ah shit!’ I should have said that.”

The episode will air on the Sundance channel Sunday July 10th.
