Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani slammed the group Black Lives Matter on Monday arguing, “I saved a lot more black lives than Black Lives Matter.”

Appearing on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends,” Giuliani, a former United States Attorney called Black Lives Matter “inherently racist.” (RELATED: Giuliani: The Real ‘Danger’ For Black People Isn’t Police [VIDEO])

Giuliani’s first argument is that Black Lives Matter “divides us. All lives matter and when the presidential candidate, the governor of Maryland [Martin O’Malley] made the statement that all lives matter, they intimidated him into changing it to black lives matter. All lives matter. White lives, black lives, all lives. Number two: Black Lives Matter never protests when every 14 hours somebody is killed in Chicago, probably 70, 80 percent of the time a black person. Where are they then? Where are they when the young black child is killed?”

Also during his appearance, Giuliani said, “Don’t tell me I don’t care about black lives.”

“A lot of the protection in this city of New York is for black people because 70 percent of the murders in New York City are black, so that has to be that way. I believe I saved a lot more black lives than Black Lives Matter.”
