Trace Adkins was drunk while performing at a fundraiser for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a new report claims.

The 54-year-old country crooner was slurring his words during his three song-performance in New Jersey Wednesday night, and it was so bad, apparently, that the audience beelined for the exit. (RELATED: Lisa Marie Presley Files For Divorce After 10 Years Of Marriage)
“You couldn’t hear him except for him mumbling,” one concertgoer said. “My girlfriend said I think he’s drunk or something and everyone was picking up their chairs and leaving.”

In 2014, Adkins checked himself into a rehabilitation facility for alcohol abuse after he brawled with a Trace Adkins impersonator who was singing karaoke on a cruise ship.
