Sabine Durden, whose son was killed by an illegal immigrant said on Monday that she is still alive today because Donald Trump announced “his candidacy and [I] heard him talk about illegal immigration.”
Appearing on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” the day after she spoke at the Republican National Convention, Durden shared her thoughts on the moment saying, “I almost fainted. I’m incredibly grateful to Mr. Trump who is my hero and life saver.”
“Because of [Trump],” Durden said, “I didn’t commit suicide because I heard him announce his candidacy and heard him talk about illegal immigration.”
“I’m grateful to you guys to be here and share this story and not sweep it under the rug,” Durden said. “We have to get more honest about it.”
