A police officer in Columbus, Ohio was hospitalized on Monday and held overnight after he found glass in his sandwich.
According to the local ABC affiliate, the police officer bit into a sandwich that contained several shards of glass.
The officer noticed the glass after he bit into the sandwich and it made crunching sounds. Upon further inspection, his mouth was bleeding.
Thus far, the Columbus police investigation has not discovered if the addition of the glass into the police officers sandwich was intentional or accidental.
As of this report, no charges have been filed and the officers name, as well as the name of the restaurant in which the glass sandwich was served have not been released.
