Julianne Moore said what Donald Trump is doing is “incredibly detrimental” to us as a society.

On Wednesday, the 55-year-old actress told the Huffington Post that she has watched the Republican National Convention and only hears people say why Hillary Clinton is bad, not why they should vote for Trump, adding that a party can’t win by doing that. “I mean if you watch the RNC last night it was an incredibly negative and very disappointing event,” Moore said. “This ridiculous negative campaigning is not moving anything forward. I didn’t hear anyone presenting Donald Trump as a leader.”

“What I really heard them doing was taking down Hillary Clinton,” she added. “Where do you win when you’re doing something like that? It’s a very interesting time.”

“I don’t know that any society has moved forward by being exclusive and nationalistic and that’s what I’m seeing Donald Trump doing,” she continued. “I think it’s very negative and incredibly detrimental to us as a society.”
