German police are asking the public to not share photos or videos of the ongoing mass shooting in Munich, because the perpetrators are still on the loose and police are concerned the photos would help the suspects.

“Please don’t take Fotos or Video of Police Action in order to avoid any helpful Information for the suspects,” the police tweeted. “#munich#gunfire#oez”

Another tweet read: “AGAIN: NO videos or pictures of police forces deployed put online, do not help the perpetrators !!!”

Subway service has been disrupted, as has bus service. The police are asking the public to avoid and to evacuate all public areas in Munich. The police has stated that the situation is unclear and that the perpetrators are still on the run.
