Barack Obama’s half-brother and longtime Democrat Malik Obama is voting for Donald Trump because “he speaks from the heart.”
Trump himself commented on the news on Twitter, saying, “Wow, President Obama’s brother, Malik, just announced that he is voting for me. Was probably treated badly by president-like everybody else!”

In an interview with The New York Post from the Kenyan village of Kogelo, Malik Obama said, “I like Donald Trump because he speaks from the heart.”
“Make America Great Again is a great slogan,” Malik Obama said. Adding, “I would like to meet him.”
Malik Obama is still able to vote in the United States because he is still registered to vote in Maryland. As of now, Malik Obama plans to return to America to vote for Trump in November.
He argued that because he has “deep disappointment” in his Barack Obama’s tenure as president, he has now switched his political affiliation to “the party of Lincoln.”

According to Malik Obama, he decided to vote for Trump over Hillary Clinton because of the email scandal.
“She should have known better as the custodian of classified information,” Obama said.
Malik Obama, who has at least three wives, later told The Post, “I feel like a Republican now because they don’t stand for same-sex marriage, and that appeals to me.”
