ASHBURN, Va. — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed Hillary Clinton for the fundraising numbers she announced Tuesday.

Referring to the former secretary of state by his coined name “Crooked Hillary,” Trump appeared to sniff at the $60 million that the Clinton camp raised in the month of July.

“Twenty people gave her 60 million. I’m gonna get a list of those twenty people,” Trump said during a rally on Tuesday at Briar Woods High School. “I want to find out how many I know…they own her.”

The Clinton camp announced Tuesday morning that Clinton had the “best fundraising month of the campaign in July, bringing in nearly $90 million for Hillary for America and the Democratic Party.”

Trump, however, boasted about the tens of thousands of individuals who gave to him, saying, his campaign raised more than “$35 million from 60 thousand people at $61 a piece.”

Trump added he plans to put up $60 million more dollars into his campaign and will “be in for over $100 million.”

Trump reasoned that this was why the wealthy did not like to run for office, noting, “I’m a testament to either never do it or to do it.”

Trump also went after Clinton for denying she was untruthful to the FBI about mismanaging classified emails as well as avoiding press conferences. Additionally, Trump criticized Clinton for having a bad relationship with Russian president Vladimir Putin and promised he would have a better relationship with the Russian leader.

“This is a nuclear country we’re talking about — a strong nuclear country — and so are we,” he said of Russia. “But their stuff is newer.”
