Officials at famously politically correct, generally whiny Oberlin College have finally placed a professor on administrative leave over her cascade of bizarre, virulently anti-Semitic Facebook posts.

The professor, Joy Karega, teaches rhetoric and composition on the ultra-liberal campus in Ohio — where a year of tuition, fees and room and board costs $66,602.

Among her vast multitude of conspiracy-laden statements, Karega has suggested that Israel plotted the September 11, 2001 terror attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. which killed 2,996 people, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Karega has declared that the Islamic State is a tool of Israel and the United States. Darkly sinister American and Israeli spies — not ISIS terrorists — were the masterminds behind last year’s Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris, the professor wrote.

The professor has charged that Israel downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

She has also argued that the very term “conspiracy theory” — when used to describe her zany conspiracy theories — is actually a tool used by Jewish people to marginalize critics.

“(1) How has the term ‘conspiracy theory’ been used (is being used) to control the parameters of inquiry and research in the academy?” Karega has written, according to The Forward. “(2) How has the uncomplicated tying of conspiracy theories to accusations of anti-Semitism been used (is being used) to control the parameters of inquiry and research in the academy?; (3) What are we dealing with when we’re witnessing accusations of anti-Semitism being directed at scholars and researchers who explore, espouse, and even defend conspiracy theories? Rhetorically, are we looking at silencing techniques, intimidation tactics, etc.?”

Additionally, Karega posted an image showing an ISIS terrorist removing a Benjamin Netanyahu mask to expose a terrorist self.

Under the conditions of her paid leave, Karega will neither teach nor advise Oberlin students during the fall semester.

However, the fancypants private school will still generously pay Karega for her mandatory time off.

Oberlin president Marvin Krislov, who is Jewish, announced Karega’s suspension on Tuesday via an email sent to parents. He sent the email, obtained by the Plain Dealer, in response to “recent renewed national media interest,” he wrote.

“In March, in consultation with me as president, Oberlin’s Board asked the administration and faculty to use its governance processes to review Professor Karega’s professional fitness in light of her social media postings,” Krislov wrote.

“I am committed to continuing and completing an equitable review process. While the process is pending, Professor Karega is on paid leave and will not be teaching at Oberlin,” Krislov also wrote, adding that he plans to say nothing more until the school’s review of Karega is complete.

Prior to the decision to suspend Karega, Oberlin trustees had released a statement describing the professor’s rants as “abhorrent.”

Supporters of Karega have argued that her First Amendment rights allow her to say and write whatever she wants as an employee of the private college — and still keep her job.

After the decision to suspend Karega became public, a quartet of Cleveland area Jewish groups released a statement.

“This interim decision sends an important message about the college’s commitment to seeing that academic freedom is not abused to the detriment of the students,” the statement, obtained by the Plain Dealer, said in part.

On Wednesday, Karega responded briefly to the situation on social media.

“I will continue to receive letters and notes of support here in my messages inbox and via email,” the Detroit, Michigan native — and University of Louisville grad — posted on Facebook. “I will read them. Trolls and those of you who have been surveiling my Facebook account since March, keep on keepin on, but I have NO COMMENT.”

Oberlin — the alma mater of Lena Dunham and, somehow, Michelle Malkin — is most famous because Obama-loving leftist student Dylan Bleier and his sidekick Matt Alden allegedly circulated virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus “for the shock value,” according to Bleier. Krislov called off school for a day and made a huge fuss, despite apparently knowing full well it was all a hoax. The Oberlin administration then exploited the hoax to implement an aggressive leftist agenda on students, according to Legal Insurrection. (RELATED: Meet The Privileged Obama-Supporting White Kids Who Perpetrated Cruel Oberlin Race Hoax)

Naturally, Oberlin students joined dozens of other colleges in releasing a Mizzou-inspired set of demands last academic year for their administration. The list was no less than 14 pages in length, and included a staggering 50 stern demands, many of which divide into several stern sub-demands. Among the absurd demands were that the school suspend all grades below a C so that students could focus on their political activism instead of their schoolwork. (RELATED: The 11 Most Absurd Discoveries From The New Yorker’s Oberlin College Exposé)

To his everlasting credit, Krislov released a defiant statement refusing to even consider any 14-page list of demands. (RELATED: Oberlin President Tells Complaining Students To Take A Hike)
