Authorities in Washington, D.C., released surveillance footage of four individuals suspected of murder amid a violent week with several homicides.

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking four persons of interest in connection to a July 30 homicide of 29-year-old Edward Roberts Jr. in northwest D.C. Police responded to reports of gunfire in northwest D.C. Saturday morning at 3:24 a.m. near Park View. Authorities found Roberts with multiple gunshot wounds and later pronounced him dead, according to a statement from the MPD.

Surveillance video from a gas station camera and street cameras show two suspects leaving a car and walking down a sidewalk. They are then seen running back to the gas station where they hop in a car with two additional suspects and drive away.

Seven people were shot and two died in six different shootings in the early hours of July 30. District police believe the shootings are unrelated. D.C. suffered two additional homicides this week as the violence in the city continued.

Police are seeking suspects in the homicide of 19-year-old Derryk Johnson that left another victim with a gunshot wound to the leg Wednesday. Police are also searching for suspects in the murder of 20-year-old Robert Lee Vinson, who police found suffering from a gunshot wound Wednesday.

D.C. is suffering a violent year, with 75 confirmed homicides across the city. The District experienced a staggering 53 percent spike in the murder rate in 2015, the highest rate in eight years. The alarming surge in homicides continues into 2016, tracking closely with last year’s figures.
