A band member with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers hit back at Clint Eastwood after he called the current generation the “pussy generation.”

On Friday, Flea, the 53-year-old bassist whose real name is Michael Peter Balzary, took to his Twitter account to fight back against what the actor called the “pussy generation” and called out the 86-year-old actor for defending Donald Trump’s controversial comments as “a big hoodoo.” (RELATED: Clint Eastwood On Hillary Clinton: ‘It’s A Tough Voice To Listen To For Four Years’)

“Hey Clint Eastwood count me in as a pussy as we aspire to evolve above racism,” Flea tweeted.

In an interview earlier this week with Esquire magazine, Eastwood said he hasn’t endorsed either one of the candidates running for president but after hearing Hillary Clinton say “she’s gonna follow in Obama’s footsteps” he would therefore vote for Trump.

The actor also said that the Republican presidential nominee has said “dumb things” but that people on both sides of the aisle have done the same and he accused the press of only focusing on Trump.
