MLB legend Curt Schilling is coming to the defense of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Trump has been under sharp criticism after stating, “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick — if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. Schilling doesn’t believe that Trump was threatening Clinton.
“The one thing everybody needs to understand, he’s not funny. He tries to be funny and he’s not. When you have the media beholden the way they are they’re going to interpret it anyway they need to, just like they did,” Schilling told TMZ Sports.
