Fox has unveiled the first footage for the “Prison Break” revival (AKA season five). Check it out below.
“Prison Break” aired on Fox from 2005-2009 and was met with widespread enthusiasm from viewers and even scored Golden Globe nominations in its first season for Best Drama and Best Actor. In 2017, the show will return with original stars Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar and Paul Adelstein.
Back when the series first debuted, it followed Michael Scofield (Miller), who was determined to rescue his wrongly convicted brother, Lincoln Burrows (Purcell), from death row by busting him out of prison. The revival, which was filmed in Morocco, will center around Lincoln and Michael’s wife Sarah (Sarah Wayne Callies) investigating clues that hint that our protagonist is still alive. Along the way, familiar faces will be drawn back into the action and mystery.
