There has been much reporting saying the Republican National Committee is in turmoil, but RNC officials tell The Daily Caller their operation is the “most effective and most efficient ground game in the history of our party.”

On Sunday, Politico reported that the RNC is preparing to cut off support for Donald Trump in October if his campaign doesn’t turn around. The RNC has denied this plan and party officials told TheDC that they’re proud of their operation.

“We are mobilizing thousands of dedicated and highly trained volunteers in battleground states who are going to drive the turnout we need to beat Crooked Hillary,” anonymous officials said. “The RNC began putting staffers on the ground in 2013 and has not let up since.”

As of the end of June, Trump had only 68 paid staffers compared to Clinton’s 651. RNC officials told TheDC they have 504 paid staffers in the battleground states of Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Colorado. They additionally have staff in California, Utah, New York, Texas, and Arizona.

On top of this, they have over 4,100 trained organizers on the ground.

The RNC officials said that they “aren’t duplicating any efforts” from 2012. A data analysis program they are utilizing has given over 190 million registered voters each over 300 predictive data points. The RNC is running 1.6 billion voter predictions per month.

“In addition to monitoring voter sentiments on partisanship, supporting GOP candidates up and down the ballot and enthusiasm for the election, we also have insight into their stances on issues ranging from gun control, immigration and their level of activity on social media,” sources told TheDC.
