Things are getting twisted in the ongoing messy split between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. A new report claims that Depp mutilated himself out of anger over an alleged cheating rumor.
According to TMZ, Depp may have cut off the tip of one of his fingers and used his bloodied stump to paint Heard’s name and that of her suspected romance, Billy Bob Thorton. All of this information is coming from Heard’s camp.

TMZ reports that the incident in question took place in March of last year, just one month after the couple had married. The two broke into a serious argument in a villa in Australia, which led to the alleged outburst by Depp.
Heard claims that Depp was drunk and high on ecstasy at the time and that he broke a handful of bottles and windows and even broke a wall phone unit. She says that he cut his finger on a shard of one of the broken items.
Her story continues that Depp then used her dark blue paint to scrawl “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on a mirror with his wounded finger.
Heard and Thornton did work together on the film “London Fields,” though Depp’s ex-wife claims that he accused her of cheating with several men.
This is just the latest incident in what has become a string of bizarre events in the continued divorce between the two.
