Warner Bros. has unveiled a new IMAX trailer for Clint Eastwood’s upcoming “Sully,” starring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks. You can check out the trailer below.
Hanks will star as Captain “Sully” Sullenberger, the real life pilot who made an emergency landing for a commercial flight in the Hudson River on Jan. 15, 2009. There were no injuries or casualties among all 155 passengers. Though Sullenberger was hailed as a hero by the public, an investigation into the incident threatened to derail his career and destroy his reputation.
Also starring in the film is Aaron Eckhart and Oscar nominee Laura Linney.
This will mark Eastwood’s first directorial effort since 2014’s Oscar nominated “American Sniper.” “Sully” is set to arrive in theaters on Sept. 9.
