Hollywood Turns Out For Clinton Fundraisers

Hollywood turned out for Hillary Clinton for two Southern California fundraisers Monday.

One was hosted by Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger, according to Variety. Tickets for the dinner with Clinton ran $100,000 per couple. Notables that attended included Will Ferrell, Tony Goldwyn and Jon Feltheimer. (RELATED: Leonardo DiCaprio Backs Out Of Hillary Clinton Fundraiser)

One of the attendees said Clinton spoke about issues like infrastructure and education in a question-and-answer format. She also defended the work of the Clinton foundation.

Earlier in the day, a luncheon was held at the home of the hall of fame basketball superstar Earvin “Magic” Johnson, hosted by actors Denzel Washington and Samuel L. Jackson. According to TMZ, the event raised more than $1.3 million.

The total raised from two events is said to be at least $6.3 million, according to CNN.

Clinton was scheduled to attend two Hollywood luncheon fundraisers on Tuesday. One of the events takes place at the home of Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel, who stepped in when Leonardo DiCaprio pulled out. Tickets for the event runs $33,400 a couple.

The Timberlake fundraiser is reported to have brought in $3.36 million dollars.
