British political leader Nigel Farage said Wednesday he will appear alongside Donald Trump at a Wednesday night Mississippi rally.
Farage was one of the leaders of the successful Brexit movement. Like Trump, Farage is against immigration and current free trade deals. Farage told NBC News he will appear with Trump but will not be endorsing him as he criticized Obama for interfering with British politics.
Despite Farage saying he will appear at the rally, Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks told Sky News she would “highly doubt” a joint Farage-Trump appearance.
Trump has been supportive of Britain’s move to leave the European Union. He tweeted out last week, “They will soon be calling me MR. BREXIT!”
