Michael Phelps just revealed who he was listening to at the Summer Olympics in Rio when he made the death stare that ended up “all over the internet.”

“As a music fan I’m so excited to be here,” the most decorated Olympian ever said on Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York City. “Remember in Rio when I made that face that ended up all over the internet,” he added. “I was in the zone with Future’s track ‘Stick Talk’ blaring in my head phones. I might have a lot of golds but this guys got all the platinum.”
