San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick will continue to sit during the national anthem.

Kaepernick was asked if he intended to continue sitting and replied, “Yes, I will continue to sit. I will continue to stand with the people who are being oppressed. To me this is something that has to change and when there’s significant change, and I feel like that flag represents what it’s supposed to represent, this country is representing people the way it’s supposed to, I’ll stand.” (RELATED: Hookstead’s Hot Take: America Stood Up For Colin Kaepernick, He Should Stand For The Flag)

He didn’t stop there. He continued by explaining his views on police brutality, and also his view that that people with guns have less training than people with curling irons. (RELATED: Millionaire NFL Quarterback Has Mind-Boggling Reason For Refusal To Stand For National Anthem)

It looks like Kaepernick’s antics with the national anthem likely won’t be coming to an end soon. He should get used to the bench though because it looks like he probably won’t be the 49ers starting quarterback.
