San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem will be added to the videogame Madden 17.

“Kaepernick’s decision will be briefly mentioned in-game, reflecting our commitment to authenticity in Madden NFL 17. Overall, our new commentary will mainly center around on-field performance, as well as major news like trades, free agency signings, and injuries,” a senior publicist for EA Sports said, according to GameSpot(RELATED: Millionaire NFL Quarterback Has Mind-Boggling Reason For Refusal To Stand For National Anthem)

It’s unclear exactly at this time how Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem against the Green Bay Packers will be reflected in the game. It could simply be mentioned by commenters or perhaps it could actually show him on the sidelines. (RELATED: Donald Trump On Colin Kaepernick: Perhaps He Should Find A New Country To Live In)

Leave it to the guys over at EA Sports to make sure that Madden continues to be the most realistic sports game on the video game market.
