Dr. Phil asked Burke Ramsey if he murdered his sister during a three-part interview on the 20th anniversary of her death.

John and Patsy Ramsey reported their daughter missing on Christmas Eve in 1996 after they said they found a ransom letter demanding $118,000 for her return. JonBenét Ramsey was later found beaten and strangled in the basement the next day.

“The night that your sister JonBenet was killed, there were only three people in that house that we know the identify of,” Dr. Phil said to Burke. “You’re the one that has never spoken. My question for you is why now and why here?”

“Has it ever occurred to you that your parents actually thought you did this and didn’t ask you because they didn’t want to know?”

“I remember my mom searching my room that night saying, ‘Where’s my baby? Where’s my baby?'” Burke said. “I know people think I did it; that my parents did it. I know that we were suspects.”

Burke, who is now 29, said he is doing media interviews so he can keep her memory alive.

“I want to honor her memory by doing this interview. I don’t want anyone to forget. This is my final interview. I have no reason for speaking to the media again.”

The Ramsey family was cleared of any wrongdoing in 2008 — two years after Pat Ramsey died — after DNA testing concluded that none of them did it.
