Fox Sports pundit Jason McIntyre believes there is a chance that the San Francisco 49ers may cut quarterback Colin Kaepernick before they play the San Diego Chargers on Thursday.
McIntyre believes that Kaepernick could be cut before the game because of San Diego’s massive military presence, which could bring outrage to an entirely new level if Kaepernick sits out the national anthem. San Diego a huge military city. Prediction: Kaepernick is put on IR or cut or inactive for the game https://t.co/p7SpoY48Mt

The Chargers will be also hosting “Salute to Military” night for the game Thursday. That might be the extra motivation for the 49ers to make sure that Kaepernick is nowhere to be found come game time Thursday night.
The dual-threat quarterback has been the center of a media circus after he refused to stand for the national anthem as a protest against what he believes is oppression. (RELATED: Hookstead’s Hot Take: America Stood Up For Colin Kaepernick, He Should Stand For The Flag)
Only time will tell if Kaepernick is still on the roster tomorrow.
