Taylor Swift has a hunch that her new boyfriend is only dating her so he can boost his own profile, a new report claims.

Though the 26-year-old singer has been dating Tom Hiddleston since June, they have not made an official public appearance together because Swift is reportedly worried he is using her for fame. (RELATED: Photos Of Taylor Swift And Tom Hiddleston In England Surface)
“Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private,” a source close to the couple told Page Six Tuesday. “Tom’s need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable.”
“She tried to be OK with it in the beginning, but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons,” the source added.
“Taylor is an independent young woman and doesn’t feel like she needs a boyfriend to make her feel complete.”

In July, Hiddleston was asked if his relationship with Swift was all a publicity stunt.
