Amy Schumer has vowed to leave the country if Donald Trump becomes president in November.
In an interview with the British music magazine New Music Express, the 35-year-old comedian said she is going to have to learn another language because the idea of staying in the United States if the Republican nominee wins is just “too crazy.” (RELATED: Amy Schumer: Donald Trump Is ‘Upsetting)
“My act will change because I’ll need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain, or somewhere,” Schumer said. “It’s beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It’s too crazy.” (RELATED: Amy Schumer’s Book Sees Disappointing First Week In Stores)
The comedian then said the reasons people have given her for why they don’t want to support Hillary Clinton are all superficial.
“I haven’t had a conversation with anyone who doesn’t like Hillary where they’ve had anything meaningful to say,” she said. “I think she’s caught so much flack for so long now, because she isn’t what they think of as a woman. They were mad she wasn’t making cookies, but she was like ‘Oh no, I’m getting healthcare for every mother in the country.'”
“They don’t like how she speaks or dresses,” she added. “It’s everything except how she would be as a president.”
Schumer joins a growing list of celebrities who have vowed to leave the country if Trump win.
