Rosie O’Donnell Gives Update After Daughter Reportedly Tries To Overdose

Rosie O’Donnell shared a positive update after her daughter reportedly tried to overdose.

The 54-year-old actress and comedian tweeted that her 19-year-old daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, was okay after she underwent a psychiatric evaluation after she attempted to overdose on drugs, according to Page Six(RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell’s Daughter Undergoing Psych Evaluation After Attempted Overdose)

“She is okay…#RealLife #chillymy,” O’Donnell tweeted. The post also included an older photo of her daughter.

 

 

Chelsea O’Donnell had to be rushed to the emergency room at a hospital in Long Island after she attempted to overdose Tuesday night, according to E! News. (RELATED: Rosie O’Donnell Goes After Melania Trump’s Nude Photos)

The mother and daughter have recently reconnected after having a troubled relationship in 2015. Last month, O’Donnell shared a selfie picture on her Instagram account of the two. The caption next to the photo read, “Chelsea and me – what a difference a year makes #hopelives.”
