Former President George W. Bush’s speech at Ground Zero following the 9/11 terrorists attacks will go down as one of his greatest ever.
Bush stood among the rubble with a bullhorn in his hand. Firefighters and first responders in the crowd shouted they couldn’t hear him because he wasn’t loud enough.
“I can hear you! I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you! And the people, and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon,” the Republican president emphatically shouted back to cheers.
God bless America.
