Hillary Clinton Cancels Scheduled Ellen DeGeneres Interview After Pneumonia Diagnosis

Hillary Clinton canceled her scheduled appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” after she was diagnosed with pneumonia.

The Democratic nominee will no longer sit down for an interview with the talk show host because she has canceled her trip to California that was scheduled for this week after she was seen stumbling away from a 9/11 commemoration ceremony. “Secretary Clinton will not be traveling to California tomorrow or Tuesday,” Nick Merrill, a campaign spokesman, said in a statement.

“Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies,” Dr. Lisa Bardack said in a statement. “On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia.”

“She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule. While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.”
