Health issues became a central issue of the campaign after Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia over the weekend, with both candidates promising to release more extensive medical information this week.

“Pneumonia?” he tweeted Monday. “I’d vote for Dead Hillary in this race. She could be Patient Zero for Bubonic Plague, still better than #TangerineNightmare.”

During a recent stand-up performance in Washington, D.C., Maher joked about Trump being assassinated.

“I’m nervous with this election,” he told the crowd. “I saw the headline today: ‘Race tightening, Trump ahead in Ohio and Florida.'” (RELATED: Bryan Cranston: ‘I Believe Donald Trump Loves This Country’)
