Chelsea Clinton missed her daughter’s first day of preschool because she was campaigning on behalf of her mother in North Carolina this week.
On Tuesday, Marc Mezvinsky and the family’s nanny were spotted dropping nearly two-year-old Charlotte off at her first day of preschool in Manhattan. The nanny pushed the stroller as Marc perused his phone.

“College affordability is a women’s issue,” Chelsea told the group of students. “Higher education affordability is a women’s issue in the same way that economics is a women’s issue and the same way that childcare shouldn’t just be a women’s issue, but a family issue and an economic issue.”

“I think that what the candidates are talking about and kind of what they’re putting a priority on illuminates what they would focus on or not when in the White House.”
