The steamy “Fifty Shades Darker” movie trailer beat the 24-hour record previously set by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

The highly anticipated sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey” beat out the much-awaited “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” being viewed 114 million times across all platforms — YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. — according to the Hollywood Reporter. (VIDEO: ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Star Called Filming In Nice After Terror Attack ‘Sobering’)

The “Fifty Shades” trailer in the first hour of its release alone had more than 2 million views on its Facebook page.

The erotic romance movie means the return of Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. In the trailer, fans get to see glimpses of both donning masks for a stunning masquerade ball, along with shots of the two steaming up a shower and in bed together.

The words on the screen read, “Forget the past and slip into something a shade darker.”

“Fifty Shades Darker” comes out Valentine’s Day in February 2017.
