Following her Sunday collapse, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton took a few days off from the campaign trail to get over a strain of “non-contagious bacterial pneumonia.”
The former secretary of state returned to the road with a series of events in North Carolina on Thursday, when WFMY’s Ben Briscoe tweeted a photo of Clinton’s motorcade.

Briscoe’s followers quickly pointed out the ambulance riding behind Clinton’s campaign bus…

… prompting him to follow up with the Secret Service.
Turns out, it’s standard operating procedure for Secret Service detail to be accompanied by an ambulance.

Additionally, the Secret Service told Briscoe that the reason Trump’s motorcade doesn’t have an ambulance is because he wasn’t already under protection prior to the election.
As a former First Lady, Clinton has been under Secret Service protection since the 1990s.
