Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel believes San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is exercising his right to protest during the national anthem.

“I think Colin Kaepernick is standing up for what he believes in and he has the right to do that. It’ll sort itself out,” the Heisman winner for the Texas A&M Aggies told TMZ Sports when asked about Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the national anthem. (RELATED: Meet The Playboy Model Johnny Manziel Is Vacationing With In Mexico [PHOTOS])

Manziel also refused to comment about NFL commissioner Roger Goodell supporting Kaepernick.

According to TMZ Sports the electric dual-threat quarterback was sober as he left a Mr Chow in Beverly Hills.

Perhaps the NFL comeback and training is right on schedule.
