Shawty Lo has died. He was 40 years old.

The rapper — whose real name was Carlos Walker — was killed in a car wreck Wednesday morning, his manager confirmed on Twitter. The accident was originally reported as a hit-and-run, but was later revealed to only involve one vehicle.
His white Audie reportedly went over the guardrail, hit two trees, and caught fire. He died after being ejected and his two passengers were taken to the hospital. There is no update on their conditions. (RELATED: Kimbo Slice Dead At 42)
Walker is the father of 11 children.
